Established

Established meeting in Bangor Abbey

1642

Constituted

Constituted as one of the first congregations of the newly formed Presbytery of Ulster

c1660

First building

Built our own meeting house on Fisher Hill. Pulled down in 1661

1660s

Growing community

Met in the open air on a hill overlooking the sea

1686

Rebuilding

Rebuilt the meeting house on Fisher Hill

1741

Expansion

Built a larger stone meeting house on Quay Street

1831

Main Street

Built the meeting house on Main Street, where we still gather today

2010

Extension to our facilities

Added a large suite of premises to facilitate mission & community life
